Natchez Trace Cycling and Tour d' Attala Cycling Club invite you to take the challenge with us to explore, support and educate motorists as well as cyclists on safety while traveling the beautiful Natchez Trace Parkway. Enjoy the parkway as you climb north to one of the highest points in Mississippi, 603 feet above sea level.

About the Rides

There are 16, 39 and 65-mile options. The out and back 65-mile route will take you North of French Camp where the more challenging climbing starts. On your way to one of the highest points in Mississippi, you'll go over what locals call the holy ghost. You'll then be on a fast decent to Jeff Busby camping area. Once you leave the Pkwy you'll climb 200 feet in just under a mile to Little Mountain Summit.

 

This year winners will be broken into age brackets. 1-2 winners from each male category will receive the exclusive Red Polka Dot Jersey. Females in their categories will receive the exclusive Pink Polka Dot Jersey. These jerseys will be ordered to size!! Categories are as follows:

Men: <28, 29-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Women: <35, 36-55, 56+

In order to compete for a "King of the Mountain Jersey" you must complete the entire 65-mile event. Also, if you are competing for a jersey and you are a previous jersey winner YOU MUST WEAR YOUR POLKA DOT JERSEY!

In keeping with our commitment to safety, we recommend all cyclist wear high visibility clothing and use bike lights.

Packet Pick-up: 

Packet pickup will be at the start location, the old Shelby Globe plant (Hamilton/Shields Rd intersection) in Kosciusko, from 4-7pm. You can also pickup your packet the morning of the ride (at the ride location on Hamilton Rd.) from 5:30-6:45am.

Race Day start times: 

The 65mi ride starts at 7am, 39mi ride starts at 7:15am, and the 16mi ride begins at 7:30am.
